Rocca of Cavour - 2021

Writer's picture: Davide DimacDavide Dimac

Cycling tour from Grugliasco to the Rocca of Cavour. Although the sun was quite strong, it was still very cold. Very few cars around, even on the main roads. Lots of bikes and several families out for a walk.

The first part of the road (towards Cavour) done at constant pedalling for some cross-country training. The climb up to the Rocca, on the other hand, has to be done always in one breath.

Hardly anyone else at the top. Snack break, enjoying the panorama of the surrounding valley. In the direction of Pinerolo and Torino.

Very cold return towards Torino, both the section towards Villafranca Piemonte (cold wind) and the section after Piossasco (black clouds covering the sun).
