Prarotto - 2020

Writer's picture: Davide DimacDavide Dimac

Cycling tour from Grugliasco to Prarotto. Very hot day, starting in the morning. Some traffic on the streets, even though it is San Giovanni holiday in Torino.

The first part of the climb from Condove must be done regularly to get the rhythm. The difficult part comes around Frassinere, when the slope increases significantly and no longer allows you to catch breath till the top.

At Prarotto chapel on the top, there is a fresh water fountain and also a lawn that allows to sunbathe in the wind breeze. There are also many MTB trails with amazing viewpoints for taking pictures.

Quite technical downhill road and then a very hot return along Val Susa in the afternoon.
